It has been a very busy summer and and even busier start to our Autumn term. We now have a much more laid back schedule which still involves lots of learning doesn’t seem to involve sitting still for very long which at the moment suits us just fine.
As the Autumn term hit we suddenly found an enthusiasm for extra activities. LB1 has joined cubs (and had his first cub camp!), LB2 has started Beavers, LG is continuing with ballet and tap while LB1 has also started athletics training and both boys are now having weekly swimming lessons. All go here!
So I am trying to get back to blogging – but also keep things simple as I do not have much time these days and need to study myself when I can fit it in. So just short updates unless we get up to anything very exciting.
Today was a trip to Durham Castle. It was great fun and we learned all kind of interesting facts and trivia which lead to lots more talking in the car and when we got home – particularly about the Tudors (a bit of a tangent there!). We also popped along to see the cathedral and we all agreed that we need to go back and spend a full day exploring the beautiful city.
